How to add easily custom Forms to your website with Drag Drop Site Builder:


Here are the steps you should follow if you want to create and add custom forms to a page of your website, without needing any technical knowledge:

  1. Install the “Content admin“, the “Database browser“, the “Pagebuilder database” and “Simple Form packages, then enter the Content Admin
    1. To do so go to “Options
    2. click “Install” for “Standard Back-End Administration, to configure and manage your site contentadmin x.xx”
    3. click “Install” for “Database Browser, to browse the contents of your database db_browser x.xx”
    4. click “Install” for “Scripts to enable Database Features in PageBuilder pagebuilder_database x.xx”
    5. click “Install” for “Build Database forms in minutes with no technical knowledge simpleforms x.xx
    6. click the new tab which appeared “Content admin
    7. login with username/password: admin/sqlfusion
  2. Create a Form/Table
    1. click “new Form / Table” on the left of the Content Admin page
    2. enter the name of the form and the number of fields you want
    3. enter for each field what you desire to enter (check mark of the field is required, name of the field, the field type, the field size)
    4. You read “Table and Registry have been created successfully” once you have submitted.
  3. Go to “Pagebuilder”
    1. click in the list of “Tools”, “Simple Form”
    2. click “Display table form”
    3. choose in the drop down menu “_default” for From report template
    4. choose the page where the user is redirected after information submission for “next page after submit”
    5. choose in the list of tables the one you created earlier in the “Content admin”
    6. click “Add”

At this point the simple form is added to your page.

You can drag it and drop it wherever you want it to be in your webpage, you can resize it if you:

  • Click on the form + Click SHIFT key your keyboard + move the mouse (all at the same time).

Information collected when visitors fill in the form and submit their information, will be accessible in the Content admin under the name of the table you created earlier.

Note: To access the Content Admin of your website once published, add admin.php after the URL of your website (e.g http://www.[yourdomainname].com/admin.php and login to enter it.
